5/2/2023 0 Comments Vh1 most embarrassing moments![]() I want to share with you how I almost didn’t bounce back from one moment in particular, and how I found myself back on track after an awkward moment. Our most embarrassing moment can actually be our turning point to a higher path. Most of us don’t realize something, however. When you’ve been embarrassed, it can be a struggle to move forward from the incident. We all go through life and experience our own awkward moments, and it doesn’t just happen once. Is it a grey area of fraud? Is it actual fraud? I don't know but I was pissed and wrote the recruiter, the hiring manager, the SVP of HR and the CEO of the company a pretty harsh letter about their behavior.Almost everyone can name their most embarrassing moment. They misrepresented themselves and took my ideas free of charge with the allure of possibly getting a position within the company. there was never any job? The recruiter said that if any of the candidates ideas panned out they may consider offering them a position. The recruiter told me it was in fact a real problem they were having and that they wanted outside ideas." I responded that I thought this was a hypothetical scenario and if they actually had this problem. The response I got from the recruiter was that they liked my solutions for the case study but they seemed too "extreme" for their problem. Didn't hear anything from them for a week and decided to reach back out. ![]() I went back home to NY and did the case study the next day. At the end of the interview they asked me to do a case study for them as part of the interview process. Was there all day and they asked me what I thought were a lot of hypothetical questions. It seems Redditors have gone through all kinds of horrible interview experiences, and are ready to share. Sometimes even worse things happen during an interview. I’m still not sure if there was a position available or if they just brought people in to lessen their workload.Īccording to Redditors, this type of thing happens a lot. Then they told me the position was filled. My writing points were fragments, but the company just copy and pasted them, word-for-word, using my pitch as a title. They didn’t even bother to change the grammar. I was, at least, right about that part.Īfter I made several attempts to follow up, I noticed my exact blog pitches on the company’s website. I left feeling good about the interview and thought my blog pitches were top-notch. In addition to pitches, I had to provide writing points. As part of the interview, they had me create written pitches for three blog ideas. ![]() I walked into an interview for a staff writer position at a company. When I first started interviewing for jobs, I was under the impression that job interviews only go badly if the candidate is unprepared. I don't know to this day if he was messing with me, but I'm pretty sure I just told him to Google it. I think he's messing with me and just answer "masturbation." He asks what that is, and if his mom can help him. I explain to him, professionally, that he should ejaculate into the cup we provided. We tell him to go home and bring us back a sample. Teenager comes in, thinks he might be sterile. One patient called a took the "just bring it in, hand deliver it!" directions too literally and tried to shove a handful of semen through the office window. We give them two sterile cups, paper bags, and instructions. Patients have to bring in semen samples post vasectomy to make sure there was no issue with the procedure so we can declare them sterile. It's pretty wild and I have lots of stories (my poor boyfriend), but here are two of my favorites: Yes!!! This is going to get buried, but I worked in a urologist's office for a long time. ![]()
